Kolkata Climate Week brings together two
key CGAPP initiatives:

Pravah
The Ganga Anti-Plastic Pollution Campaign – a five day event at Kolkata, as
a part of the overall anti-plastic pollution campaign along the Ganga river system,
which is the second largest source of oceanic plastic pollution. To highlight the river
pollution and potentials of tech-driven solutions, among other things, we would
be running an automated trash boat created by an Indian startup and on-the-spot
river water quality testing by another startup.
Parivartan
A two-day startup-focussed event aimed at promoting cutting-edge climate and
other breakthrough technologies, strengthening startup-government linkages, and
fostering collaboration within the Tech ecosystem. We are expecting a large number
of investors and ecosystem players like India Accelerator, T-Hub, IIT KGP and
others to join in this.
