K Satish Nambudiripad is a DG (Director General) level officer working with the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Govt. of India.
During his 30 plus years of service, he has handled diverse positions both in the Government of India and in his home state of Kerala, including that of the Private Secretary to Union Minister for Food & Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs,
Director (Secondary Education)
and Registrar of Copyrights India in the Union Ministry of HRD, Deputy Press Secretary to the President of India, late Dr. K.R. Narayanan as well as CEO of NRK- ROOTS, under Non- Resident Keralites Affairs Department, to name a few.
He has been trained in various aspects of public policy, communication governance, performance management and public-private partnership initiatives etc from institutes like IIPA Delhi, IIM Bangalore, LBSNAA, Mussoorie, University of East Anglia, UK and University of California, Berkeley.
Adept in strategic planning and policy formulation, he brings with him an eye for the details and nuanced approach in programme implementation and project evaluation.

Subhomoy Bhattacharjee (Twitter: @subhomoyb) is Consulting Editor at the Business Standard newspaper. He works on public policy, primarily finance, energy and urban issues. His latest book “India’s Coal Story”, traces how India’s coal reserves was at the centre of a major political scandal that nearly sent a Prime Minister to jail. It explores why since Independence, Indian business and government could not settle the rights on energy security, creating the murky politics of coal–& sketches the options for India’s future energy security. His earlier book was “Special Economic Zones in India; Myths and Realities” (co-authored). He has read Economics at the Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University and at Shri Ram College of Commerce. He has worked in the Govt of India as part of Indian Information Service & has since moved to The Economic Times, Indian Express & Financial Express newspapers. He is Senior Adjunct Fellow with Delhi based think tank Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS). He teaches undergraduate students Economics at OP Jindal Global University. He is also a regular commentator on television channels for their business news programmes. His next book on the conflicting role of political and permanent executive in the government and the implications for framing public policy, is due to be published soon.

The Hindi Edition went in to reprint just in 20 days of the launch. Dr Amitendu Palit is Senior Research Fellow and Research Lead (Trade and Economics) at the Institute of South Asian Studies, National University of Singapore. He is an economist specializing in international trade and investment policies, FTAs, supply chains, connectivity, cross-border data flows and the Indian economy. He sits on the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Trade and Investment. He is Senior Research Fellow (Honorary) at the Wong Centre for Study of MNCs and Adviser for Athena Infonomics. A regular columnist and commentator on television, Dr Palit has edited and authored several books on trade, investment and macroeconomic policy.

Jayanta Roy Chowdhury is currently Bureau Chief with Press Trust of India looking after its eastern region, based in Kolkata.
He has been a journalist for nearly three decades, specialising on political and economic issues including the politics behind financial and economic legislations, international trade, development issues, etc. He has a wide range of interests ranging from contemporary history to security and international relations. He has earlier worked for the United News of India, The Pioneer & The Telegraph and the Express group . He has also on occasion written for the Businessworld, Yojana, `Desh’ (Bengali) and London-based Asian Affairs magazines.
An Economics Graduate from Delhi University, Jayanta was Chevening Fellow(awarded by the British Government) in Development Economics at University of Bradford, UK.He has frequently appeared as an expert analyst on television and radio shows including on All India Radio’s Market Mantra. He has been a guest lecturer on journalism for undergraduate students at Delhi University. He is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth Journalists’ Association and also General Secretary of its India chapter. CJA is an international body of Journalists involved in training and nurturing newspersons from Commonwealth countries, accredited to the Commonwealth Secretariat.
